First round

Socials, Email Campaign & More

The first round was the heaviest workload. I was able to hand the following deliverables:

  • Instagram Image Posts
  • +60 Emails designed and coded in HTML
  • UX/UI Web Updates
  • Hero Section on HTML and CSS
  • Ads
Instagram Image posts

I was required to design Instagram image posts for all 18 Reader Types, using the corresponding icons the client had previously created. Here are some examples of the Instagram Image Posts I designed for them:

Email campaign

I was able to designed and coded in HTML, a full email campaign the client was planning to use at the website's launch.

Hero Section for landing pages

This requirement was to design 4 hero sections that the client would be using on specific seasons after the website's launch. I was able to create some Low Fidelity wireframes, discussed them with the client, and once the idea was approved, designed the High Fidelity wireframes, as well as coding them on HTML and CSS.

Second round

Web App Features & More Emails

The client was looking to introduce new User Interfaces and Experiences to their Web App with a Responsive Web Design approach. They also included three new email requests for this round.

Find my bookstore

This feature was all about offering a map for users to search for a specific bookstore, get directions, and the chance for them to visit their website. I designed it for Desktop and Mobile.

Browse & Sidebar

The Browse feature was located on the Books page, where users would be able to select one of four categories and subscribe to a newsletter.

With the Sidebar feature the client was trying to offer a profile page, where users would have access to options such as Liked and Read Books, and their Reader Type.

Third round

New Features & Illustrations

The last round was about a set of new features like Create New List, Add to List, &Move Book. Also, I was requested with +20 unique illustrations about Bookfinity's original characters: Elizabeth & Rex.

Create New List

This feature would let users create different type of lists, with the purpose of adding books to those lists.

Illustrations

There were more than 20 illustrations requests during the last round of work for Bookfinity. These illustrations served different purposes, e.g. emails, website use, promo, etc.

A Fun-Filled Project

  • Love every minute working for this client and the Bookfinity project. Looking back it shows the variety of work requests this client had and how fun it turned out to be.
  • When a client has a clear brand style and knows what they need, the work is easier to develop and meet their needs.
  • This project helped me push my own boundaries on illustration and defeat certain fears. I discovered and polished abilities that I thought I didn't have.

More Work.
